At another location, namely in Purba Sinamba Village, Padang Bolak District, the TNI even repaired the floor boards of the suspension bridge which was a vital access for residents. Not only physical affairs, the TNI soldiers are also good at cooking. Public kitchens stand in several places, such as in Tilang Julu Village, Sayur Matinggi District, and in the yard of the Batang Toru Sub-district Office.

With dexterity, soldiers cut onions, mix spices, and cook for residents. The role of TNI soldiers also extends to health services.

In the settlement of residents affected by the disaster in Hutagodang Village and the Batu Hula Village evacuation tent, TNI soldiers served health checks as nurses as medical personnel.
