Azur Air Plane on Thailand-Russia Route Makes Emergency Landing in China
JAKARTA - An Azur Air plane flying from Thailand to Russia made an emergency landing at Lanzhou airport, China, without any reports of casualties after sending an emergency signal.
"The Boeing 757 aircraft, which operates flights from Phuket to Barnaul, has made an unscheduled landing at Lanzhou Airport (China). The landing was successful and normal," the airline's spokesperson told RIA Novosti as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 23.
Previously, the airline's spokesperson said there were 238 passengers on board.
It is not yet known what caused the emergency landing.
