5 Trees in Jakpus Tumbang in One Day Due to Bad Weather
JAKARTA - A total of 5 trees of various sizes in Central Jakarta were reported to have fallen and collapsed on Friday, January 23, 2026.
"Yes, there are several tree incidents today. A total of five trees fell down and were damaged," said the Head of the Central Jakarta City Forestry and Parks, Mila Ananda, when confirmed by VOI.
Furthermore, Mila said that the five trees that fell and were damaged were in several different locations.
"Three trees that fell were Kapuk, Asem and Glodogan," he said.
Meanwhile, two other trees that were naturally damaged due to strong winds during bad weather also occurred in separate locations.
"Two trees are broken or broken branches, namely the Angsana and Karet Kebo types," he said.
Of the five trees that fell, continued Mila, one of them occurred at a gas station in the Paseban area, Senen.
It was reported that a large tree in the Salemba area gas station area, under the Matraman Flyover, Paseban Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta, suddenly fell on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The large tree then hit the roof of the fuel filling station, which was completely destroyed.
