BI Mencatat Uang Beredar Capai Rp10.133,1 Triliun pada Desember 2025

Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded the economy's liquidity or broad money (M2) in December 2025 grew higher.

BI Communication Department Executive Director Ramdan Denny Prakoso conveyed that the position of M2 in December 2025 was recorded at Rp10,133.1 trillion or grew by 9.6 percent (yoy), higher than the previous month's growth of 8.3 percent (yoy).

"This development is driven by the narrow growth of the money supply (M1) of 14.0 percent (yoy) and quasi-money of 5.5 percent (yoy)," he said in a statement, Friday, January 23.

Denny conveyed the development of M2 in December 2025 was mainly influenced by net bills to the Central Government (Pempus) and the development of credit distribution.

Meanwhile, the distribution of credit in December 2025 grew by 9.3 percent (yoy), higher than the growth in November 2025 of 7.9 percent (yoy)

Meanwhile, net bills to Pempus grew by 13.6 percent (yoy), increasing compared to the growth in the previous month of 8.7 percent (yoy).

Meanwhile, net foreign assets grew by 8.9 percent (yoy), after growing by 9.7 percent (yoy) in the previous month.

The credit provided is only in the form of Loans, and does not include financial instruments that are equated with loans, such as debt securities, banker's acceptances, and repo bills.

In addition, the credit granted does not include credit granted by the offices of General Banks located abroad, and credit disbursed to the Central Government and Non-Residents.
