Google Launches Free AI-Based SAT Practice Feature on Gemini
Google has officially launched a free SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) practice exam feature powered by the Gemini Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. This support was released to help students easily step into college.
Now, students only need to give a voice command or type 'I want to take a SAT practice test' on the Gemini platform. Later, Gemini will automatically provide a complete set of exam questions at no additional cost.
Google says that the exam material from Gemini is not just a regular simulation because it has gone through a strict verification process. They work with reputable educational institutions such as The Princeton Review to ensure the quality of the questions.
"We have prepared practice questions based on content that has been rigorously verified to build the best experience for students," Google said in a statement, quoted on Friday, January 23.
Google's partnership with educational institutions ensures that students will practice with material that is very similar to the original exam. After completing the test, Gemini not only gives a score, but also performs an in-depth analysis of its work results.
The chatbot will show the strengths and identify areas of material that still need to be improved. Students can also ask for detailed explanations for any answers that are considered difficult or wrong.
Basically, students can interact two-way with the chatbot to understand the concept of the question well. In fact, Gemini can make a personalized learning plan for each user.
Although it is currently only available for SAT, Google plans to expand support for other types of standardized tests in the future. This will help students from around the world prepare for higher education.
