At the WEF, Minister of Investment Rosan: Investors See Indonesia Has Stable Economic Growth

JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Industrialization/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani stated that global investors view Indonesia as a country with stable and prospective economic growth.

The assessment emerged in the series of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Davos, Switzerland, 19-23 January 2026, in line with the high positive response of investors to the presence of the Indonesia Pavilion.

In a statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Friday, January 23, Rosan expressed the enthusiasm of the investors present reflected the global confidence in Indonesia's economic fundamentals which remain maintained amid economic uncertainty and geopolitical fragmentation of the world.

"So, the appetite of investors who are present at the Indonesia Pavilion is very good. Investors see Indonesia with stable economic growth and other indicators are very positive. And, also sectors such as food security, energy transition get high attention here," said Rosan, quoted by Antara.

The government has inaugurated the Indonesia Pavilion, Wednesday, January 21, in the WEF Davos 2026 series, as part of investment diplomacy on the global stage.

The pavilion was opened directly by Rosan together with CIO Danantara Indonesia Pandu Sjahrir, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro, and Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Foreign Relations Bernardino Vega.

"In total, there are 13 panels in the Indonesia Pavilion. And the response is positive, guests are happy with the Indonesian pavilion, because it is open and interesting. We display several things, both those displayed by the government and the business world, such as Kadin and others. Including we also display any updates from policies, regulations, and investment opportunities in Indonesia, which must be conveyed to global investors," said Rosan.

The pavilion, he said, will last throughout the WEF Davos 2026 event with the theme of Indonesia Endless Horizons. as well as the results of cooperation between the Investment and Industrialization Ministry/BKPM, Danantara Indonesia, and Kadin Indonesia

Rosan emphasized that the inauguration of the Indonesia Pavilion was a strategic momentum for Indonesia to declare its position as a credible and consistent dialogue and investment partner.

Through the integrated presence of the government, business world, and diplomatic representatives, Indonesia conveyed a message of readiness to expand long-term economic cooperation, as well as open concrete and sustainable investment opportunities.

President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that Indonesia's economic policy is designed to be measured and data-based as the main foundation in maintaining stability and fiscal discipline.

The President assessed that this approach was the key to national economic resilience in the midst of global uncertainty.

"Our policies have been and will always be appropriately designed," the president said.

The President explained that national stability that supports economic policies does not happen by chance. This can be realized because of Indonesia's consistent choice to prioritize unity, collaboration, and friendly relations rather than confrontation.
