Disobedient To The Leadership, KPK Employees Who Ask For Postponement Of Inauguration Are Better Off Resigning
JAKARTA - Communicologist Emrus Sihombing highlighted 588 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who passed the National Insight Test (TWK) as a condition for changing their status to State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who asked to postpone their inauguration on June 1 tomorrow.
According to Emrus, KPK employees who have met the requirements (MS) or passed the TWK, should show an attitude and behavior that obeys the leadership. Because according to him, the KPK is not a political institution that is exchanging interests.
Therefore, KPK employees must obey the leadership decisions that have been made collectively by the five commissioners.
"If the KPK leadership has determined the inauguration of KPK employees to become ASN, tomorrow, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, it must be obeyed, it is not permissible to ask for a delay just for reasons of solidarity with those who do not meet the requirements or do not pass the TWK,"
If there are employees who have met the requirements, they do not take part in the inauguration because they prefer solidarity with friends who do not qualify, said Emrus, meaning they will not become ASN.
"Therefore, it is more appropriate to be outside the KPK to form an organization of former KPK employees. But I still suspect that more or even all MS employees will take part in the inauguration," he said.
According to Emrus, employees who do not want to be appointed for this reason show an attitude of defiance to the leadership. It also indicates that they are not ASN, so they cannot carry out their duties at the KPK. Because, according to the law, KPK employees must be ASN so that their work is legitimate.
Emrus emphasized that employees who meet the requirements have no right to delay or speed up the inauguration. Employees only obey the directions, instructions, orders of the leadership and obey the laws and regulations.
"If not, it is much better to just resign from the KPK," he said.
It is known, as many as 588 employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who passed the National Insight Test (TWK) as a condition for changing status to State Civil Apparatus (ASN) asked for their inauguration to be postponed.
"Internal support has reached 588, hopefully it will continue to increase," said KPK's Director of Inter-Commission and Agency Network Development (PJKAKI), Sujanarko via text message, Sunday, May 30.
This number is known to have increased from last Saturday, May 29, where there were 416 employees who passed the TWK asking for the inauguration to be postponed.
Previously, 1,349 KPK employees took the test to change their status to ASN. Of that number, 1,274 anti-corruption agency employees were declared eligible after passing the TWK as a condition for changing status to ASN. Meanwhile, 75 other employees were deemed ineligible.
The head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), Bima Haria Wibisana, said that the KPK employees who passed the TWK would be sworn in on June 1, along with the birthday of Pancasila.
The number of employees who will be inducted is 1,271, because three of them resigned and did not meet the requirements, and one other employee died.
"Earlier, technical considerations were also submitted for the determination of the NIP of 1,271 KPK employees for the SK for PNS to be issued by the KPK leadership so that they could be inaugurated on June 1, 2021 to coincide with Pancasila Day," said Bima at a press conference at the BKN office, Tuesday, May 25.
