Prosecutor Shows Green Akik Ring at the Trial of Brigadier General Nurhadi

JAKARTA - The public prosecutor showed evidence of a green agate-eyed ring to the panel of judges at the continuation of the trial of the murder of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi during the agenda of the examination of forensic doctor dr Arfi Syamsun.

Budi Mukhlish representing the team of public prosecutors showed this after showing a reconstruction scene showing the position of the victim being persecuted by the two defendants who were portrayed by substitute roles.

The prosecutor displayed the ring belonging to the defendant I Gde Aris Candra Widianto by asking the expert about the correlation of the scar on the left eye of the victim.

Arfi in his expertise in the field of forensics admitted that he could not confirm the scars that were identical to the oval shape of the ring evidence.

"It could be," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, January 22.

He only explained that the bleeding on the back of the head until the victim's neck bone was broken could be triggered by the impact of a hard object on the front of the head.

"Judging from the wound, it was a pressure scratch (around the left eye), there was an estimate of blunt object impact, there was a correlation of bleeding on the back of the head that hit the object that was silent (floor)," said Arfi.

In addition to the fatal wound to the back of the head, Arfi also conveyed the matter of a broken tongue bone which was also suspected to be the trigger for the victim to die before drowning in the bottom of the small pool.

"If from my reference I see, there is a pressure that is fatal, hard on the front neck, the blow is also included. It could be (because of the bite), because there is no sign of choking," he said.

In the indictment, the defendant I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto was referred to as the perpetrator who beat the victim until he fell and his head hit the floor.

Meanwhile, the defendant Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama was charged with an act of beating like arresting a criminal, namely covering Nurhadi's body from above and locking his hands from behind.

However, the scene that was said to be the trigger for Nurhadi's death was not justified by the two defendants since the investigation process was ongoing, so that in the reconstruction held at the scene in Gili Trawangan, it was carried out by a substitute actor.
