Legally Blonde prequel, Elle series gets second season
JAKARTA - Its first season has not been released, but Amazon MGM Studios announced that the Elle series has officially continued to the second season. Elle is a prequel to the film Legally Blonde starring Reese Witherspoon.
Its first season will tell the story of Elle Woods' journey through high school before she decides to become a law student at Harvard, which is told in the film. The series will be released starting July 1, 2026.
"Twenty-five years after the world first met Elle Woods, it feels like a dream come true to be able to share the story of how she grew into the unstoppable force we all love," said Reese Witherspoon, one of the producers.
"Finding Lexi Minetree and watching her bring to life the iconic figure of Elle was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career.
