JAKARTA - Ahead of Eid 2026, fashion trends are again showing an increasingly diverse direction and are influenced by modern lifestyles and social media exposure. "The loose vest and the bride's dress are viral again on TikTok, becoming a trend this Eid. The silk and lace material makes it suitable for wearing at Eid and can be worn by those who are petite and tall," said Adela Umayraa from GlamLocal when met at the GlamLocal Fashion Parade in Jakarta, recently.

The detachable vest is a fashion that combines a basic gamis with an additional vest that can be worn or removed as needed. This model offers flexibility in clothing, with variations in silhouettes such as straight, asymmetrical, to A-line. The details presented are also diverse, ranging from buttons, ties, to embroidery touches.

In terms of material, the loose vest uses various types of fabrics such as linen, organza, cotton, to jacquard which gives a light impression but is still elegant. The combination of a simple-looking gamis with a textured vest makes the look more dynamic.

This one fashion, the comfort and convenience of matching, the detachable vest is predicted to be one of the fashion trends for Lebaran 2026.

Meanwhile, the gamis bini is known as a gamis model with a simple design but has a distinctive detail in the form of layers at the bottom of the skirt, with a shorter front. Generally, this one silhouette tends to follow the contours of the body and looks a bit sexy visually.

This model is also equipped with balloon sleeves and lace accents that add a feminine impression to the bottom. The name of this gamis is quite funny and humorous, which then became popular after going viral on TikTok.

Both fashion models are favored because they are able to present a balance between comfort and aesthetics. The design is considered suitable for wearing during Eid, still elegant but not excessive, and easy to combine with supporting accessories.

Regarding the color choices for Lebaran 2026, Adela said that pastel and earth tones would still dominate. However, bold colors still have their own fans, especially in certain age groups.

"As for color, this year it's back to pastel and earth tones. Usually combined with patterns and lace. Young people love playing with embroidery, beige colors, which are not very plain," continued Adel.
