The Iranian-flagged tanker MT Arman 114 is a seizure evidence from the case of waste disposal with the convicted captain of the ship Mohammed Abdelaziz Mohamed Hatiba.

The Batam District Court in July 2025 determined that the MT Arman 114 ship and its cargo and light crude oil cargo were seized for the state. Abdelaziz was sentenced to seven years in prison and a fine of Rp5 billion, plus six months in prison.

This case began when the Indonesian National Marine Security Agency (Bakamla) patrol saw two tanker ships that were stuck together and turned off the automatic identification system (AIS).

When approached, the MT Arman 114 ship, which was loaded with light crude oil and the MT S Tinos, which was flagged by Cameroon, was suspected of illegally carrying out ship-to-ship activities.

From the results of aerial observations using a drone aircraft, it was seen that the second pipe connection of the ship was connected and there was an oil spill from the MT Arman 114 ship.
