Establish the People's Movement Party, Loyalis Anies Resigns from Jakpro Commissioner

JAKARTA - Sahrin Hamid officially resigned from his position as Commissioner of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro). The resignation letter was submitted directly to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung as of January 21, 2026.

The resignation was made after Anies Baswedan's loyalists founded the People's Movement Party and were appointed as general chairmen for the 2026-2031 period on January 18, 2026.

In his official statement, Sahrin explained that his appointment as party leader was accompanied by a mandate to immediately form the management structure at all levels.

"That on January 18, 2026 in Jakarta, in the 2026 National Working Meeting of the People's Movement. We were appointed as the General Chairman of the People's Movement Party for the period 2026-2031, and were mandated to organize the party's management at all levels," said Sahrin, in his statement, Thursday, January 22.

This person close to Anies emphasized that the decision to resign from the commissioner's post was a form of compliance with the regulation on the governance of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD).

He referred to Government Regulation (PP) Number 54 of 2017 and the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 37 of 2018 which prohibits political party leaders from serving as commissioners of BUMD.

"The requirements for serving as a Commissioner are not allowed to come from political parties," he said.

According to Sahrin, the mandate to lead a political party requires full focus, so that his position at Jakpro can no longer be maintained without violating applicable provisions.

"To maintain integrity with compliance with the above legal provisions. Therefore, I hereby declare my resignation from the position as Commissioner of PT Jakarta Propertindo," explained Sahrin.

It is known that the Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung in August 2025 overhauled the commissioner structure of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) through the Decision of Shareholders (KPPS).

At that time, Pramono appointed the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) Lusiana Herawati as the President Commissioner to replace Hikmahanto Juwana.

Pramono also appointed Sahrin Hamid as a Commissioner of Jakpro. Sahrin is close to the former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. The General Chairman of the People's Movement Ormas has also been Anies' spokesperson for some time.

In addition, Pramono also appointed Kreshna Putra as a Commissioner of Jakpro. Kreshna is the Chairman of the South Jakarta DPD of the Golkar Party.

Then, the Head of the Regional Owned Business Development Agency (BP BUMD) DKI Jakarta Syaefuloh Hidayat was also appointed as a Commissioner of Jakpro.

Sahrin, Kreshna, and Syaefuloh replaced the position of Jakpro Commissioner which was previously held by Lusiana Herawati, Agus Susanto, and Suhajar Diantoro.
