Komdigi Emphasizes the Importance of SPBE as a Center for the Integration of 27 Thousand Government Applications

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria emphasized the need for an Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) as the main foundation of the national digital government.

According to him, with around 27 thousand applications spread across all government ministries and agencies, it is considered necessary to unite the system so that public services run in one national architecture.

"This is a big homework for us to integrate into one program of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE)," said Nezar, quoted in an official statement, Thursday, January 22.

He believes that the integration of SPBE will reduce system overlaps, simplify service flows, and ensure that data between agencies are interconnected.

At the regional level, Komdigi encourages the alignment of digital systems with national infrastructure that has been prepared by the central government, including the National Data Center and national API as the backbone of service data exchange.

"The goal is for public services to be more integrated and easily accessible to all communities, while fostering a local digital ecosystem," he added.

With this integration, all Indonesian people will be able to experience public services that are easier to access and consistent in various regions.

However, he emphasized that the SPBE is a national agenda that can only run if the center and the regions move in the same direction.

"Digital transformation needs to be seen as a national agenda that is carried out together between the central and regional governments, so that all regions can play an equal role in supporting the achievement of national development priorities," he concluded.
