Thursday Morning Jakarta Rain, Several Flood Stops and Transjakarta Services Disrupted

JAKARTA - A number of Transjakarta bus stops and bus stops were flooded due to rain that hit Jakarta on Thursday, January 22, which had an impact on the delay of the service of a number of Transjakarta and Mikrotrans bus routes.

Head of the Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, said that the rain that caused puddles at a number of points also affected the smooth operation of bus services.

"The delay and adjustment of Thursday morning services occurred due to traffic constraints during the rain and a number of other external factors," said Ayu, Thursday morning.

One of the affected points is in Jalan Gunung Merapi, West Jakarta. As a result, route 3E (Puri Kembangan - Cengkareng Centralland) does not serve the Royal Palem 1 bus stop to Mall Taman Palem 1.

In addition, traffic jams and traffic density also have an impact on services in the Petukangan area, especially on the 13 Corridor route and route 13B (Puri Beta - Pancoran), L13E (Puri Beta 2 - Flyover Kuningan), and JAK 107 Microtrans (Garden Bridge - Puri Beta). This condition occurs until the underpass of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road or Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR).

Service disruptions were also reported in the Matraman area. Traffic density during the rain caused delays on the 4th Corridor (Pulo Gadung-Galunggung), 4C (JIEP-Senayan Roundabout), 4D (Pulo Gadung 2-Kuningan), and 4K (Pulo Gadung-Kejaksaan Agung) routes.

Meanwhile, in the Tanjung Priok area, a number of Transjakarta and Mikrotrans routes experienced delays due to a combination of flooding and container loading and unloading activities. The routes affected include Corridor 10 (Tanjung Priok - PGC), Corridor 12 (Pluit - Tanjung Priok), route 10D (Tanjung Priok - Kampung Rambutan), and Mikrotrans JAK 01 and JAK 03.

"Our team is currently carrying out mitigation in the field to minimize the impact of delays in services due to rain, flooding, and loading and unloading activities in the port area," said Ayu.
