JAKARTA - The Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) continues to finalize preparations for the relocation of state civil servants to work at the IKN, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

As part of the agenda for reviewing the readiness of the area, the IKN Authority received a visit from the Special Staff of the Vice President, Tina Talisa, at the Nusantara Central Government Core Area (KIPP), Tuesday (20/1).

"The Vice President has provided a lot of support. In fact, he strongly encourages us from the Vice President's Secretariat to gradually have an office in IKN," said Tina as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 21.

The visit was a follow-up to the direction of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka in encouraging the acceleration of the preparation of the transfer of ASN so that they can immediately work at the IKN.

Tina said this was a form of direct support provided by Vice President Gibran.

The agenda also ensures the development of the Nusantara region, including the development of ecotourism and the use of clean energy in the future.

"In addition to discussing with the Head of the IKN Authority, we are looking at how the potential for ecotourism development in the future. Of course, in the future there are still things we must control together, including how to implement clean energy here," said Tina.

During his visit, the entourage of the Vice President's Special Staff reviewed various strategic points, ranging from the wisataglamping place, the minister's official residence, the Vice President's Palace to the Office of the City Hall of the IKN Authority. The agenda was also closed with a visit to the Presidential Palace.

As a follow-up to Vice President Gibran's instructions, the IKN Authority continues to strengthen the readiness of infrastructure and the ASN working ecosystem in Nusantara.

This step confirms the seriousness of the government in realizing IKN as the new center of government in Indonesia.

Vice President Gibran reviewed a number of strategic projects in the IKN area on December 30, 2025.

Gibran said the review was carried out to ensure that the continuation of the IKN development was in accordance with the target, as stipulated in Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 79 of 2025 concerning the Update of the Government Work Plan for 2025.

The Vice President emphasized that the current government has a strong commitment to continue the development of IKN in accordance with the policy direction that has been set.
