Prabowo and King Charles III Discuss Conservation While Drinking Tea

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto and King Charles III discussed with a number of philanthropic groups and conservation activists at Lancaster House, London, England, Wednesday morning, while "drinking" or drinking warm tea together in the midst of the London weather which is still entering winter.

In Great Britain, it is a time-honored tradition to drink tea in a certain way, so that tea with various types, has a special position in their daily lives. The British aristocrats have of course kept this tea drinking tradition from generation to generation.

Charles, when he was about to enter the meeting room, stopped his steps when he saw the table that served tea for the event participants.

He then poured the milk into his teacup, then took it into the meeting room. The same thing was done by Prabowo who also brought his teacup when entering the meeting room, Main Hall Lancaster House.

Reported by ANTARA, in the meeting room, Prabowo and Charles, holding tea cups, then greeted the participants of the event, including philanthropists and environmental activists. After greeting a number of event participants, the two world figures continued to chat with several philanthropists, and several officials from Indonesia.

In the meeting, officials who accompanied Prabowo, including the President's Special Envoy for Climate and Energy, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, Minister of Environment, Hanif FNurofiq, Minister of Forestry x Raja J Antoni, and Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the DPR, Budisatrio Djiwandono.

Then, there is the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy I Wijaya and the puppet son of the President, Ragowo HDjojohadikusumo, who is popular with the name Didit Hediprasetyo.

In the meeting room, there are a number of posters that feature conservation work, including those aimed at protecting elephant habitats. There are also posters from economic alliances that focus on environmental conservation.

The meeting at Lancaster House with the philanthropists lasted for about 45 minutes.

After that, Charles first left the location by walking to his residence at St. James's Palace. The light rain that was falling in London at that time did not slow down Charles's steps to walk to his house.

Then five minutes later, Prabowo followed Charles's footsteps to St James's Palace, and he held his own umbrella while walking to St James. Next to him, there was Teddy accompanying Prabowo, then Didit, and Hashim.

At St. James, Prabowo and Charles continued to meet to discuss a number of environmental issues, including those related to elephant conservation.

Charles is currently still in the position as a patron for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)-UK.

The meeting at StJames was closed to journalists.

After St. James's Palace, Prabowo is scheduled to continue his journey to the airport to fly to Davos, Switzerland.
