Celebrate the 25-year journey of MAX globally, Yamaha Indonesia launches a special MAX livery

JAKARTA - In addition to presenting the new Yamaha TMAX model as a new member of Yamaha MAXi, Yamaha Indonesia also gave another surprise.

One of the surprises came in the form of a special livery that now adorns and colors the 2026 Yamaha MAXi line-up. Titled MAX Special Livery, Yamaha introduced this special livery as a celebration of Yamaha TMAX's 25 years of global travel since its first appearance in 2001.

At this moment, Yamaha released a special livery that showcases the historical journey of the Yamaha TMAX as a global heritage model and part of the Yamaha MAX, while building a solid bond with all loyal users.

"In the momentum of 25 years of Yamaha TMAX journey, Yamaha presents the MAX Special Livery as a form of appreciation and consistency of innovation that we continue to provide to all consumers. Every design element we design to display the MAXi identity as a big premium, sporty, powerful, and prestigious scooter that is relevant to current automotive trends. The MAX black color with red accents is a strong statement that Yamaha's MAXi line continues to grow in line with the needs of dynamic consumers," said Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg, Rifki Maulana, in his statement, Wednesday, January 21.

Furthermore, he said, exclusive details such as historical graphics, anniversary emblems, to special touches on the seats and suspension further enrich the value of the MAXi exclusive.

"This is a celebration that not only marks history, but also strengthens Yamaha's commitment to continue moving forward, More Ahead every time," he said.

In this special moment, Yamaha released a special Black MAX color inspired by the Yamaha TMAX color that was launched in 2006, by combining a bright red accent on each side, which further emphasizes Yamaha MAXi's character as a premium, sporty, powerful, and prestigious big scooter that is ready to appear as a dream bike of today.

This color combination is also the main dish of the MAX Special Livery which is found on the TMAX, XMAX Connected and NMAX "TURBO", NEO S, and NEO models. Various changes in terms of graphics and special details are also served in Yamaha's MAXi special livery this year. The following are various details that can be found in this year's MAX Special Livery.

The first detail on the Yamaha MAX Special Livery can be found on the right and left front wings of each motorcycle. In this section, Yamaha embeds the writing 2001-2026, which states the historical journey of Yamaha TMAX and Yamaha MAX as global models for 25 years. The red and white thick line accents, complete with thin white lines stacked at the bottom, further highlight the value of prestige and historical density on the three motorcycle variants.

On the back, Yamaha has also attached an exclusive color emblem of the product with a red-colored embossed logo accent that looks very iconic in every motorcycle variant. Not only more iconic, this detail touch also further confirms the identity and aura on each motorcycle, as well as strengthening the manifestation of Yamaha MAXi as a motorcycle with a strong premium & sporty character.

The appearance of the MAX Special Livery is even sweeter with the addition of 3D anniversary emblem details. The emblem appearance is in a black and silver color combination, with a large red MAX writing and anniversary writing complete with the number 25 in a graphic that connects into one, symbolizing Yamaha's spirit which is always committed to producing various MAXimal innovations that are sustainable in supporting the steps of Getting Ahead.

Exclusive Color Sub-Tank Suspension (Rear) The suspension area also received fresh detail changes. In line with the Black MAX color presentation as the main color tone, the suspension area, especially on the sub-tank, is now also available in black. This change detail further strengthens the appearance of the motorcycle so that it looks more powerful and sporty which is ready to support various dynamic driving lifestyles.

The seat area is one of the parts that immediately catches the attention of consumers. The black color cover that dominates the entire motorcycle seat, combined with the bright red accents on the front, top, left and right sides, back, to the seat cushion is one of the unique and different treats. Meanwhile, the seat parts on each motorcycle have also been embedded with MAX Yamaha Anniversary embossing in a premium embroidered stitching that further strengthens the exclusive aura on the motorcycle.
