Dugaan Penipuan Masuk Akpol Naik ke Penyidikan, Adly Fairuz Masih Berstatus Saksi

JAKARTA - The case of alleged fraud with the promise of entering the Police Academy (Akpol) which dragged the name of actor Adly Fairuz has now entered a new phase. The police have raised the status of this case from investigation to investigation stage.

The victim's lawyer, Mesini, confirmed this development. However, Adly Fairuz's status in this case is still a witness.

"With the development of the BAP investigation, then until now it has risen to an investigation," he said at the East Jakarta Police, Tuesday, January 20.

"Until now, it is still a witness," said Mesini.

Adly Fairuz is known to have met the investigators' call once to provide information. The examination was carried out after the case rose to the investigation stage.

Initially, the police report which was made on June 20, 2025 only targeted a man with the initials AW.

"The person reported in our report is not AF, but AW," explained Mesini.

AW is the person who has direct contact with the victim and receives the money. However, the results of the investigators' investigation found that there was a flow of funds to several other parties, including Adly Fairuz.

"With the development of the investigation... it turns out that there is a flow of funds that flows to the initials AF," he said.

This fact then dragged Adly's name into the vortex of the case. In addition to Adly, there are two other names that are also suspected of receiving funds, namely Uki and VP.

However, it is not yet known for sure how much the nominal received by each party. While Adly Fairuz was cooperative, the main reporter, AW, actually missed the call.

"This AW has never been present from the investigation to the investigation. So at this time, it can be said that this AW is DPO," said Mesini.
