Seeing the MBG Distribution Center in NTT

NTT - Even though they had to go through heavy terrain due to the Noelmina River flood, volunteers from SPPG Desa Koa, West Mollo District, South Central Regency, NTT, together with residents still delivered free nutritious meals (MBG) to schools.

The rainy season that hit NTT caused a number of rivers to overflow, including the Noelmina River which separates Kupang Regency and South Central Timor Regency. The overflow of this river hinders the distribution of MBG from the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) of Koa Village to schools, especially five schools located in Tuppan Village, right across from Koa Village.

With the basic equipment, MBG volunteers were assisted by the local community to work together to carry MBG packages across the fast-flowing river. From the images received by the editorial board on Tuesday, January 20, it can be seen that MBG packages are delivered from the kitchen using a car to the banks of the Noelmina River.

Furthermore, residents transported the packages across the river, then continued their journey using carts until they arrived at the beneficiary schools.

A total of 430 MBG packages were distributed to five schools, consisting of two elementary schools (SD), one high school (SMA), and two Early Childhood Education (PAUD).
