Agency Reveals List of Accounts that Attack aespa, RIIZE, and NCT WISH

SM Entertainment released a statement regarding their efforts to protect their three artists, aespa, RIIZE, and NCT WISH. This statement was released after they revealed a number of plans for the company in the future.

"We recently confirmed that some X users (formerly Twitter) continue to upload and write slanderous content to our artists, including false information, slander, sexual harassment, personal attacks, attacks, invasion of privacy, and other actions," SM Entertainment wrote on Tuesday, January 20.

"This illegal act caused mental damage to our artists and we filed a criminal report to fight against such actions and protect the rights of our artists," he continued.

The agency established KWANGYA 119, a platform created so that the public and fans can submit evidence if an artist is attacked personally.

"Based on reports through KWANGYA 119 from fans and data collected, we monitored some of the content listed and found 11 accounts that continued to attack aespa, RIIZE, and NCT WISH," said SM Entertainment.

The 11 accounts they mentioned in the statement were also reported with the firm they appointed to handle the case.

"Currently, we are monitoring content uploaded to social media related to other artists in addition to aespa, RIIZE, and NCT WISH and are preparing a report," the agency continued.

Not stopping there, the agency also continues to collect evidence through a number of community platforms such as DC Inside, Naver, Daum Cafe, Nate Pann, Instiz, Theqoo, MLB Park, FM Korea, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and launnya.

"Content such as teasing or containing vulgar or deepfake material or deliberately modified content. We continue to seek legal action without tolerance," he said.
