Adinia Wirasti and Ajil Ditto Awkward Acting in the Film Sadali
JAKARTA - The chemistry between Adinia Wirasti and her co-star, Ajil Ditto, is one of the key elements in the film Sadali.
However, behind the intimacy that will later be seen on screen, there is actually a unique process that starts from awkwardness or awkwardness.
Adinia Wirasti, who plays the character of Mera, openly admitted that the considerable age difference between her and Ajil initially created a slightly awkward atmosphere.
"Actually, Ajil, when I meet you, I feel like... (gesture shy)," said Adinia in Central Jakarta, Monday, January 19.
He even knew that his age was exactly the same as Ajil's older sister.
"I turned out to be the same age as my brother. Exactly like my brother. So maybe he saw it like, 'This is like my sister'," he continued.
However, instead of trying to eliminate the awkwardness, they actually use it.
"Building chemistry is actually in the end embracing what is there," explained Adinia.
Coincidentally, in the film script, the relationship between Mera and Sadali is indeed colored by many awkward moments. This is what they use as a foundation to build chemistry.
For Adinia, chemistry is not something that can be designed or engineered. He believes more in the natural process.
By following what naturally happens between them as humans, then developing it for the needs of the role.
"Because chemistry is not something that can be designed like that, according to me," he said.
Although awkward at first, Adinia also praised Ajil as a figure who has mature thinking.
"Because Ajil is actually his son is quite old, his behavior is like that," he said.
