Privy Bags iBeta Level 2 International Certification for Liveness Detection Feature
JAKARTA - Privy, a provider of digital identity services and electronic signatures in Indonesia, has officially obtained the international iBeta Certification ISO/IEC 30107-3 Level 2 (Presentation Attack Detection) certification for its Liveness Detection feature.
Through this international certification, Privy's Chief Operation Officer (COO), Nitin Mathur, said that Privy's technology capabilities have proven to detect and prevent potential medium to advanced digital fraud and fraud.
"This certification reflects Privy's commitment to meeting global standards and preventing digital fraud attempts in increasingly diverse ways. Moreover, every digital fraud attempt, including through identity falsification and verification failures, can have a direct impact on financial losses," said Nitin.
Privy's Liveness Detection technology is developed to ensure that the verification process can only be carried out by real individuals (real presence), not the result of photo, video, or deepfake manipulation.
"With the achievement of iBeta Certification Level 2, the Privy system has passed a more complex test, covering variations of identity spoofing or spoofing methods, with a longer test duration and attack scenarios that resemble field conditions," he added.
Nitin also said that this certification is not just to meet global standards, but an effort to ensure safety and comfort for the 71 million verified individual users on Privy.
To date, Privy has been trusted by more than 167,000 corporate users, and has facilitated more than 158 million digitally signed documents in various industry sectors, including MSMEs.
"In the future, Privy is committed to continuing to improve our technology capabilities, strengthening compliance with regulations, and developing global standard Digital Trust & Digital Identity solutions," concluded Nitin.
