DJP Says 12.15 Million Taxpayers Have Activated Coretax Accounts
JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has recorded that as many as 12.15 million or 12,153,071 taxpayers have activated the Coretax account until January 19, 2026.
"There are 11,225,314 individual taxpayers, 838,663 (taxpayers), 88,871 (taxpayers), 223 (taxpayers) traders through the electronic system," said Director General of Taxes Bimo Wijayanto in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 20.
The DJP also noted that as many as 282,047 taxpayers had reported the Annual Notification Letter (SPT) through the Coretax system.
Director of Extension, Services, and Public Relations of the DJP, Rosmauli, explained that of this amount, 231,375 SPT came from personal income tax for employees and 36,498 SPT from personal income tax for non-employees.
For corporate taxpayers, a total of 14,048 tax returns were submitted in rupiah currency and 33 tax returns in US dollars. As for taxpayers with different fiscal years, DJP recorded reports from 91 corporate taxpayers in rupiah currency and two corporate taxpayers in US dollars.
In addition, the DJP also noted that the number of individual taxpayers who have an Authorization Code or Electronic Certificate (KO/SE) has reached 9,151,722.
Taxpayers can activate their Coretax account independently by following the tutorial and steps available through the official DJP social media account.
For taxpayers who need further assistance, DJP provides the Kring Pajak service channel at 1500200 or assistance from officers at the nearest tax office.
DJP also appeals to taxpayers who have not reported the Annual Income Tax Return to immediately activate the Coretax account and submit the Income Tax Return in a timely manner.
Taxpayers who are late in reporting the Annual Income Tax Declaration will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of a fine, namely Rp. 100 thousand for individual taxpayers and Rp. 1 million for legal entities.
