Vivo V70 FE Appears on Geekbench: Confirms Use of Dimensity 7300 Chipset and Android 16
JAKARTA - The global launch of the Vivo V70 line is getting closer. The latest news confirms the presence of one of its variants, the Vivo V70 FE, after the device was caught on camera undergoing testing on the popular benchmarking platform, Geekbench. This appearance also reveals the core specifications that will be carried by the smartphone.
In the Geekbench database, the device with the model number V2550 is listed using a motherboard code-named "k6878v1_04". Based on the configuration of an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 2.50 GHz and a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, it can be confirmed that the Vivo V70 FE will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.
Test results show that the Vivo V70 FE managed to score 2,507 on the OpenCL test. The unit tested was equipped with 8GB of RAM, although there will likely be other memory variants when the official launch is later.
One of the most interesting points is the confirmation of the operating system. The Geekbench list shows that this device runs Android 16 directly (out of the box). This positions the V70 series as one of the first lines to adopt Google's latest operating system in the mid-segment.
90W Fast Charging and Indonesian CertificationIn addition to engine performance, information regarding power is also beginning to emerge. Certification from TUV reveals that the Vivo V70 FE will be supported by a 90W fast charging feature. The presence of this device in the Southeast Asian market is also becoming more real after the same model was reported to have received official certification in Indonesia through the SDPPI database.
Two-Track Strategy: India vs GlobalVivo is reportedly taking a different approach to this year's V70 series distribution:
Indian market: It will get the standard Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite models. The Elite variant is rumored to bring a big leap by using the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, making it the most powerful V series ever.
Global Market (Including Indonesia): In addition to the standard model, the global market will get the Vivo V70 FE and Vivo V70 Lite variants.
The Vivo V70 line as a whole is predicted to debut in India in mid-February 2026 with a price range of IDR 8.5 million to IDR 10.4 million. The global launch for the FE and Lite variants is expected to follow shortly after the inauguration in India.
