BAPI Builds 70-hectare Data Center, NANO Can Commit Funding of IDR 200 Billion
PT Bhakti Agung Propertindo Tbk (BAPI) is preparing long-term investments in the health technology and digital education sectors by planning to build a data center covering an area of around 70 hectares in Cimangeunteung Village, Maja, Rangkasbitung.
This project is expected to become a strategic infrastructure that supports the development of technology-based health and education services in Indonesia.
At the same time, PT Nanotech Indonesia Global Tbk (NANO) obtained a strategic capital commitment of up to IDR 200 billion from LDA Capital Group, LLC.
Management stated that the funds would be focused on strengthening contract execution and accelerating business expansion.
The positive sentiment of investors is also reflected in the increase in ownership of PT SoftBank Ventura Indonesia shares, which now controls more than 8 percent of NANO shares based on information disclosure by the IDX.
BAPI's Investment Director, Edi Suyitno, assessed that the synergy between the development of data centers and the entry of strategic capital into NANO.
"This will accelerate digital transformation in the national health and education sectors," he said.
