Production and Sales Exceed Target, Vale Earns Revenue of 902 Million US Dollars

JAKARTA - PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) reported that it had booked revenue of US$902 million as of November 2025.

"In the midst of nickel price pressure, the company recorded total revenue of US$902 million until November, this was driven by an increase in the volume of matte nickel production and saprolite nickel ore," said INCO President Director Bernardus Irmanto in a Public Hearing (RDP) with Commission XII of the DPR RI, Monday, January 19.

Bernardus revealed that matte nickel production reached 66,848 tons until November 2025 or increased by 3 percent year-on-year (yoy). Throughout the year, Vale also recorded total matte sales of 67,351 tons or reflected growth of 2 percent year-on-year (yoy).

Vale also noted significant progress in the expansion of commercial activities this year through the successful sale of saprolite nickel ore from the Pomalaa and Bahodopi areas. As of November 2025, total sales of saprolite nickel ore reached 1,905,740 wet metric tons (wmt).

"Likewise, ore sales by the end of the year also exceeded the budget set in 2025," said Bernardus.

Despite raking in fantastic revenue, he said, throughout 2025 Vale also faces challenges in the form of weakening nickel prices throughout the year.

"Throughout 2025, the price of nickel is relatively lower than in previous years," he said.
