Strengthen Position in the Low SUV Segment, Toyota New Raize Comes with the Latest Refreshment

JAKARTA - PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) presents improvements on the New Raize, to maintain its reputation as a competitive Low SUV in its class. For the 1.0T G CVT type, 1.0T GR Sport and 1.0T GR Sport TSS emphasize its positioning as a sporty and tough SUV thanks to the distinctive touch of GAZOO Racing (GR) on the GR Sport variant, reinforced by Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety features.

There are 1.2 G M/T and 1.2 G CVT types which provide the opportunity for more people to be able to drive it because it has high functionality and affordable prices.

Marketing Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), Hiroyuki Oide, said Toyota appreciates the trust of the Indonesian people to Raize so that it can compete in the competitive Low SUV segment. With the support of a turbocharged engine, the New Raize is designed to provide fun to drive performance and handling, while still using fuel efficiently.

Currently there are several variants of Raize, the 1.2 variant has 2 types: 1.2 G M/T and 1.2 G CVT, while the 1.0T variant consists of 3 types: 1.0T G CVT, 1.0T GR Sport, and 1.0T GR Sport TSS. To add to its appeal, Toyota presents a development touch in terms of appearance and the addition of features.

On the 1.0T GR Sport and 1.0T GR Sport TSS types, the aerokit design refresh is more sporty and elegant as a GR signature, while maintaining the image of toughness, strength, and aerodynamics that have been attached since the car was first launched in 2021.

Toyota strengthens the sporty impression in the cabin of all types with the application of Gun Metallic color on the door grip, console, center, and side as well as the application of black color on the pillars and headlining. The New Raize head unit is now equipped with Android Auto Car Play (AACP) features. For both 1.2 G types, the size of the head unit which was previously 8 inches is now 9 inches.

Raize has all the mandatory criteria: comfort, functionality, fuel-efficient, agile, and tough, accompanied by promising resale value. As an entry level at Rp. 250 million, the New Raize 1.2 G CVT is a Low SUV with the best value for money in its class with efficient fuel consumption.
