Accumulated Beneficiaries of the Dhuafa Wallet Reach 41.8 Million Souls by 2025

JAKARTA - The Islamic Philanthropy Institution, Dompet Dhuafa, has once again demonstrated its strategic role in reducing poverty in Indonesia. Based on the latest report in the agenda of the Indonesia Humanitarian Summit 2025 & Philanthropy Report held on Thursday (15/01/2026), Dompet Dhuafa noted that the accumulated beneficiaries from 1993 to 2025 had reached 41,846,341 people.

Dompet Dhuafa's Contribution to Reducing Poverty Rates

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as of March 2025, the number of poor people in Indonesia was recorded at 23.85 million people (8.47%). This figure shows a positive trend with a decrease of 0.21 million people compared to September 2024.

Of the total 23.85 million poor people, Dompet Dhuafa managed to reach 2.82 million people (12%) through various empowerment programs. This confirms the institution's commitment to not only provide immediate assistance, but to provide sustainable solutions so that the dhuafa can transform into a life of greater dignity.

Financial Performance: Effective Distribution of Zakat Funds

Throughout 2025, Dompet Dhuafa showed very healthy and transparent financial performance:

Total Collection: Rp426,519,076,822 Total Disbursement: Rp422,942,586,574 Absorption Rate: 103%

Referring to the Allocation to Collection Ratio in the Zakat Core Principle, Dompet Dhuafa's distribution performance is categorized as very effective, ensuring that zakat, infak, and alms funds are absorbed as much as possible by those in need.

Program Innovation: From Food to Health

With the theme "Empowerment To The Next Level", Dompet Dhuafa continues to produce innovative programs that have a wide impact:

Economic Sector (IKON): The Pineapple Processed Community Industry (IKON) is present as a community-based agro-industrial model to increase the added value of agricultural products and create jobs in rural areas. Health Sector (Pos Gizi): To reduce stunting rates, Dompet Dhuafa operates 95 Pos Gizi points in 10 provinces, focusing on healthy behavior education and the provision of locally based nutritious food. International Humanitarian Response: Dompet Dhuafa is actively sending aid to Palestine through a mobile clinic unit, DD Kitchen, to the delivery of volunteers. National Disaster Response: Quick response actions are carried out in the areas of West Sumatra, North Sumatra, to Aceh by building temporary houses (rumtara), emergency schools, and health services.

Until the end of 2025, Dompet Dhuafa recorded a total of 3,632,925 services spread across Indonesia, proving that philanthropic collaboration can be an important pillar in the social and economic development of the nation.
