BNI Sabet National Village Day Award 2026

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk received an award from the Ministry of Villages and Regional Development for its role in supporting rural economic empowerment.

The award was handed over at the peak of the 2026 National Village Day commemoration in Boyolali, Central Java, Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Minister of Villages and Local Development Yandri Susanto said that village development requires multi-party collaboration considering the number of villages in Indonesia reaches 75,266 villages.

The involvement of the business world is considered crucial in creating sustainable village development.

BNI is considered consistent in supporting the village development agenda through the expansion of inclusive financing, improvement of financial literacy, and assistance to MSMEs and BUMDes.

This contribution is in line with the 6th Asta Cita which focuses on strengthening the local economy.

BNI Institutional Director Eko Setyo Nugroho emphasized that the company would continue to carry out the village empowerment program as part of BNI's role in strengthening the foundation of an inclusive and equitable national economy.
