iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold Complete Leaks Circulate, Analyst Claims to Know All Specs

JAKARTA - Rumors about the 2026 generation iPhone are starting to harden. A technology market analyst, Jeff Pu, claims to have obtained the complete specifications of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, to the iPhone Fold which is rumored to be launched simultaneously in September 2026. This claim adds heat to speculation about Apple's new direction, including the potential debut of the long-awaited folding screen iPhone.

In its latest research note, which VOI quoted from 9to5Mac, Pu included an internal specification table for Apple's premium iPhone line next year. Although the report is wrapped as Apple's performance projection in 2026, the most eye-catching part is the technical details of the device that is said to be Apple's mainstay in the midst of a global smartphone market that is predicted to shrink by around 4%.

Pu estimates that Apple will actually steal momentum. He predicts that iPhone shipments will grow 2% to around 250 million units by 2026, potentially boosting Apple's market share to 21%. "Apple is expected to continue to increase its market share amid a weakening mobile phone market," Pu wrote in his note.

For the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, the leaked specifications are conservative. Both are said to be launched on September 26, 2026, with a 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen, respectively. The kitchen is powered by an A20 Pro chip based on the N2 process, with a WMCM configuration, as well as 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The front camera is said to rise to 18 MP with a 6P lens, while the rear camera carries a 48 MP main sensor with a 7P lens and 48 MP periscope camera support.

In terms of design, Pu said the iPhone 18 Pro still retains Face ID, but with a smaller Dynamic Island. The body material is said to use aluminum, with the latest generation C2 modem.

The main highlight is of course the iPhone Fold. According to Pu, this device will come with a book-style folding screen, a 7.8-inch main screen when opened and an outer screen of 5.3 inches. Interestingly, the iPhone Fold is rumored to not use Face ID, but rather Touch ID, a decision that immediately sparked a debate among Apple observers.

"The iPhone Fold will use Touch ID, with a titanium and aluminum combination material," Pu wrote. The device is also said to use an A20 Pro chip and 12GB of RAM, with a 18 MP front camera both in the folded and open conditions.

Even so, not all parties immediately swallowed this claim raw. Pu is known as an analyst who is often aggressive in timelines and assumptions, and his track record is not always accurate. Therefore, this leak is considered to be in the "possible" category, alias reasonable but not yet certain.

"There is nothing too surprising about the specifications of the iPhone 18 Pro. The focus is clearly on improving the chipset," the report reads. For the iPhone Fold, the final shape of the device is still considered a big question mark, given that Apple is known to often change the direction of the design in the final stages of development.

Apple itself usually locks the fall product line since the beginning of the year. If the iPhone Fold will actually be launched, confirmation from the supply chain could appear at any time. The continued leaks are also considered crucial to ensure whether Apple will actually switch to a twice-a-year release cycle, with the Pro model in the fall and the more affordable model in the spring.

For now, one thing is clear: the iPhone 18 and iPhone Fold rumors have entered a serious phase. It remains to be seen whether Apple will meet expectations, or will again make all analysts, including Jeff Pu, have to take a breath and say, "Yes, Apple does like surprises."
