Oxygen Liquid Gas Tank Size 3.000 Liter at Gading Pluit Hospital Kelapa Gading Leaking
JAKARTA - A 3,000-liter tank containing Liquid Oxygen belonging to Gading Pluit Hospital, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, experienced a leak on Thursday night.
Kelapa Gading Police Chief Kompol Seto Handoko Putra explained that the leakage of the oxygen liquid tank was caused by a loose thread, but it has now been repaired.
"The situation is safe, there are no victims," said Kompol Seto when confirmed, Friday, January 16.
The police chief explained that the incident began to be known by the witness with the initials EH at 19.00 WIB while carrying out checks around the liquid oxygen tank.
Suddenly, a sound of wind came out of the oxygen liquid tube. He also reported this to another witness with the initials MM.
After receiving the report information, the witness with the initials MM immediately contacted the company that provided the Liquid tank and also the nearest Damkar Post.
After the operator from the company that provides liquid oxygen tanks arrived at the location, a leak was found from a loose thread, then repairs were carried out at the leaking location.
"The location has been equipped with police lines after experiencing a leak. In addition to installing police lines, two witnesses were taken to the Kelapa Gading Police to be questioned further," said Kompol Seto.
It is known that the operator of the liquid oxygen gas cylinder belongs to PT Samator. The process of repairing the liquid oxygen tank leak was then completed at 20.58 WIB.
"There were no casualties. The material losses cannot be estimated yet," he said.
Furthermore, the case was handled by the Kelapa Gading Police for further investigation.
