Police Arrest the Perpetrator of the Stabbing of a Brother in Margahayu Bandung

BANDUNG - The Bandung City Police (Polresta) in West Java, arrested the perpetrator of stabbing his own younger brother in Margahayu District, Bandung Regency.

The head of the Margahayu Police, AKP Hasbi Ask Sidiqe, explained that the motive for the perpetrator to commit the stabbing was because he was angry with the victim's behavior, resulting in a commotion.

"So his sister knocked on his brother's room, while his brother was still sleeping. Then the younger brother while saying indecent words. Finally, his brother woke up and there was a commotion," he explained as reported by ANTARA.

The current one, with the initials YM (47), then took a sharp weapon and injured the victim. In this situation, residents around reported the incident to the police.

The police immediately rushed to check the location and the perpetrator was successfully secured less than 24 hours after receiving the report.

"Based on reports from the community, Margahayu Police officers immediately went to the scene of the incident in Kampung Sayati Hilir, Sayati Village, Margahayu District, Bandung Regency, to carry out checks," he added.

The victim was then immediately taken to the Santosa Bandung Hospital for medical treatment due to injuries to the right and left wrists, while the perpetrator, who was the victim's biological brother, was secured by the police.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator is currently being detained at the Margahayu Police Station along with evidence to undergo further legal proceedings, while the victim is still being handled by the medical team after surgery.
