Android XR is Coming with a 12MP Camera and Two Different Versions
JAKARTA - Samsung is reportedly going to present Android XR with a number of different variants. This device is reported to be equipped with an internal camera with a resolution of 12MP.
Based on the GalaxyClub report, launching from 9to5google, the resolution is equivalent to that offered by the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Most likely, this resolution is used so that the device can compete in the augmented reality (XR) market.
Other reports say that the glasses with the Galaxy Glasses code will come in two different variants. This is based on the discovery of two model numbers, namely SM-O200P and SM-O200J, which are listed in the same region.
The finding of different model numbers has sparked speculation about different device designs. It is possible that the device will come in a different frame style or two sizes that can be adjusted to the user's face profile.
Apart from size and style, the difference between these models is also suspected to be related to the lens technology used in them. However, technical details regarding the capabilities and specifications of the two models have not been officially confirmed.
The presence of the Android XR glasses is a strategic step for Samsung in expanding its smart device ecosystem. This device is expected to provide a better and more integrated digital interaction experience.
Samsung is expected to release the first model of the Android XR line this year. However, there is no more detailed information about when the device will be launched.
