Honda Square X125 Scooter Fans are Bewitched by its Unique Design

JAKARTA - The Honda Square X125 made by the Chinese manufacturer, Sundiro, is currently the talk of the town in Vietnam and the Southeast Asian region. This unique style scooter is said to have been immediately stormed by fans, even the first batch for the independent import line to Vietnam was almost completely ordered before the units arrived at the port.

This phenomenon shows high enthusiasm for this unusual design scooter. Where, combining the function of a daily vehicle with a touch of an adventurous lifestyle, ranging from light touring to camping activities.

Based on Motosaigon's report, Thursday, January 15, the delivery of the first wave of Honda Square X125 is estimated to land at the end of January 2026 to ASEAN. Meanwhile, distribution to customers in Vietnam is scheduled to start in February.

The main attraction of the Square X125 lies in the bold design concept, compared to most scooters. The shape of the body is square and angular, giving a solid impression, even often referred to as a walking toolbox because of its firm and functional appearance.

The character makes it relevant for users who need a practical vehicle for daily mobility, but are still ready to be taken on a light trip. The Square X125 is not just relying on looks.

This scooter is indeed designed to support outdoor activities. The back seat can be folded up to serve as a backrest, or folded down to add space for carrying goods.

On the side of the motorcycle there is a small folding table that adds practical value, especially when used for picnics, camping, or just resting by the roadside. From the manufacturer, this motorcycle has also been equipped with a lower protector on the side and front.

Plus the wide and flat footrest, the comfort of medium-distance driving is also maintained. Honda Square X125 has a ground clearance of around 161 mm, which is safe enough for uneven city road conditions and slightly rough surfaces.

The scooter uses 90/90-12 front tires and 100/90-12 rear tires, both of which are all terrain type. With a seat height of 740 mm and a weight of around 122 kg, this motorcycle is claimed to be easy to control and friendly for various rider postures, including women.

In terms of performance, the Square X125 relies on an air-cooled eSP 125cc one-cylinder engine with PGM-FI injection. Its power is in the range of 9.5 hp with a torque of 10 Nm.

Its strong torque character at low revs makes it feel agile for stop-and-go in the city. Meanwhile, the automatic CVT transmission gives the scooter its typical comfort for everyday use.

Fuel consumption is claimed to reach 59 km/liter. With a tank capacity of 5.7 liters, the mileage is said to be able to exceed 300 km in a full charge, attractive for urban users and short-distance travel.

One striking point in its class is the dual channel ABS braking system. This feature is relatively rare in 125cc scooters, and is an added value for safety, especially when braking suddenly or when passing slippery road surfaces.
