Kia Officially Enters a New Chapter in the Country, Sales Now Under Kia Sales Indonesia
JAKARTA - One of the automotive brands that are quite popular in the Indonesian automotive industry, Kia has gone through a journey built on trust, adaptability, and long-term commitment to the homeland market.
As the landscape of the national automotive industry continues to evolve, the journey is now entering a new chapter that marks the continuation and strengthening of Kia's presence in Indonesia. Yes, the inauguration of Kia's Next Chapter, begins with the holding of a handover & signing ceremony held at the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta, today, Wednesday, January 14.
This moment marks the transfer of ownership and management of the Kia brand in Indonesia, as well as a milestone in the start of Kia's sales and marketing operations directly under the new principal, Kia Sales Indonesia, after previously being under the auspices of PT Kreta Indo Artha.
Kia Sales Indonesia CEO, Jong Sung, said this moment has strategic significance in Kia's journey in the Asia Pacific region, especially Indonesia. According to him, Indonesia is an important market for Kia.
"Today is not only about organizational transition, but about strengthening our long-term commitment to grow and contribute sustainably in Indonesia," he said.
The handover event was attended by representatives of the Indonesian Government, the Ambassador of Korea to Indonesia, the management of Kia Asia Pacific, representatives of PT Kreta Indo Artha, the management of Kia Sales Indonesia.
As the new principal, Kia Sales Indonesia will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing activities of Kia in the country. With a more focused approach, the presence of Kia Sales Indonesia is designed to strengthen closeness to the market, accelerate strategic decision-making, and provide a vehicle ownership experience that is increasingly relevant to the needs of Indonesian consumers.
