Inara Rusli Ditolak Damai Efforts by Wardatina Mawa
JAKARTA - Inara Rusli's efforts to resolve the alleged adultery case through the peaceful path seem to have hit a dead end. Wardatina Mawa (Mawa) has officially rejected the offer of Restorative Justice (Restorative Justice or RJ) that he submitted.
Inara Rusli's lawyer, Daru Quthny, confirmed the news after visiting the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Renakta) of the Metro Jaya Police.
"Today we... went to Renata Polda Metro Jaya in order to receive the RJ rejection letter from her legal representative Mawar," said Daru at the Polda Metro Jaya, Tuesday, January 13.
This rejection letter is a heavy blow for Inara's party. This indicates that the Mawa party insists on continuing the legal process to the court.
However, Daru Quthny emphasized that his party would not give up. They will continue to seek a path of peace.
"Yes, we are still trying and trying... anyway, we still have to try," he said.
One of the main reasons they insist on peace is for the future of their children. They do not want this conflict to have a lasting negative impact.
"Because this is still related to the future of the child as well. So we will try," he explained.
Inara's party still has optimism that peace will eventually be achieved.
"We, Inara's lawyers, believe that, God willing, there will be peace," said Daru.
