Yamaha XMAX Connected Gets New Colors in Indonesia, Price is This

JAKARTA - Yamaha is refreshing its premium scooter lineup in Indonesia. Entering this January, PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg. officially launched a new color variant for the XMAX Connected as a response to the lifestyle trends of Yamaha MAXI consumers who want a more sporty and masculine look.

This refresh presents two new colors, namely Metallic Blue and Ceramic Grey, which replace a number of previous colors. Metallic Blue is a genuine blue color typical of Yamaha which is also a global color XMAX for the European market.

Meanwhile, Ceramic Grey is a color that was previously used on the 2025 XMAX TechMAX model, which has been introduced to the Indonesian public at last year's IMOS event. The two new colors are combined with the XMAX line and logo stripping on both sides of the boomerang, as well as black cast wheels.

The Metallic Black variant also received an update, especially on the cast wheel and XMAX logo emboss on the back of the body which now appears all black. Meanwhile, the Elixir Dark Silver color is still maintained without change.

With the presence of this new color, the XMAX Connected now complements the existing color options such as Prestige Grey and Luxury Red. Yamaha hopes that the variety of choices can give consumers the freedom to adjust the character of the motorcycle to their driving style preferences.

"This time Yamaha wants to introduce a new color innovation through the launch of the Metallic Blue and Ceramic Grey variants on the XMAX Connected model, accompanying the existing color options," said Manager of Public Relations, YRA & Community PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg Rifki Maulana.

"We believe that these new colors not only enrich consumer choices, but will definitely get a positive response. Because the new color character is very capable of reflecting the sporty and premium aura that many XMAX Connected users want," he continued, quoted from Yamaha's official statement, Wednesday, January 14.

In terms of performance, the XMAX Connected is still equipped with a Blue Core 250 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 16.8 kW at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 24.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm. This engine is supported by one-piece forged crankshaft technology which is lighter and more rigid, thus improving performance and efficiency.

To support safety and stability, Yamaha has attached a Traction Control System (TCS) to minimize the risk of slippage on the rear wheel, as well as an ABS braking system with dual discs. Wide-base tubeless tires and a 33 mm diameter front suspension also improve stability and maneuverability, both in the city and on long trips.

In terms of comfort and features, the XMAX Connected carries an upright riding position, a wide seat with double contours, as well as a windshield and handlebar that can be adjusted according to the rider's needs. Full LED lighting system, Smart Key System with Immobilizer, Answer Back System, to electric power socket for charging devices are also standard.

This premium scooter also has extra spacious luggage that can accommodate two XL-sized full face helmets. As an added value, XMAX Connected consumers are entitled to enjoy the 24-hour Yamaha Executive Service (YES 24) service, which includes towing, gasoline delivery, battery charging, and handling emergency conditions.

The Yamaha XMAX Connected is now marketed at a price of IDR 68,215,000. Meanwhile, the XMAX TechMAX variant is priced at IDR 75,610,000 on the road Jakarta.
