Pegadaian Gold Price Rises, Galeri24 Breaks Rp2.67 Million per Gram

JAKARTA - The price of gold bars sold at Pegadaian again increased on Wednesday, January 14.

Based on Sahabat Pegadaian data, the price of Galeri24 and UBS gold was recorded as rising compared to the previous trading.

The price of Galeri24 gold rose by Rp15,000 to Rp2,676,000 per gram.

Meanwhile, the price of UBS gold rose Rp11,000 to Rp2,727,000 per gram.

For large sizes, the 1,000 gram Galeri24 gold is priced at Rp. 2.59 billion, while the UBS gold size of 500 grams is sold for Rp. 1.32 billion.

Galeri24 gold is marketed up to 1 kilogram in size, while UBS is a maximum of 500 grams.

This price increase is in line with the movement of physical gold which is still in demand by retail investors as a hedging asset amid economic uncertainty.
