Jakarta Residents Urged to Prepare Umbrellas, Rain Falls Throughout the Day

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that most of Jakarta will be showered with light rain, Wednesday, January 14 afternoon to evening.

BMKG through its official Instagram account @infobmkg, reported this morning, the weather in the West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta areas will be thick clouds.

Entering the afternoon at around 13.00 WIB, all areas will be showered with light rain until the afternoon. Then it will be cloudy again at night.

Meanwhile, the Thousand Islands area is expected to be hit by light rain from morning to afternoon. In the afternoon, the sky will be overcast, then it will rain again at night.

BMKG predicts that Jakarta's air temperature today ranges from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius with wind speeds of 12 to 16 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, the wind speed in the Thousand Islands is estimated at 24 kilometers per hour.
