Strengthen the Role of Academics and Scientific Contributions, UMJ Confirms Four Professors

JAKARTA - The University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) has again strengthened its academic quality by confirming four Professors in the UMJ Senate Open Session held at the K.H. Azhar Ba'asyir Auditorium, Cendekia Building UMJ.

The four professors who were confirmed were Prof. Ir. Anwar Ilmar Ramadhan, Ph.D., IPM., Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hadi, S.K.M., M.Kep., Prof. Dr. Drs. Sopa, M.Ag., and Prof. Drs. Sri Yunanto, M.Si., Ph.D.

The inauguration ceremony was held solemnly and was led directly by the Chairman of the UMJ Senate, Prof. Dr. Azhari Aziz Samudra, M.Si., accompanied by the Rector of UMJ Prof. Dr. Ma'mun Murod, M.Si.

UMJ Rector Ma'mun Murod expressed his gratitude and pride for this achievement. He assessed that the presence of the Distinguished Professor is an important element in strengthening the role of universities, especially in the development of science and service to the community.

"The confirmation of four Professors is a special happiness for UMJ. For private universities, this achievement is a very valuable asset," he said.

Ma'mun also revealed that in the near future UMJ will receive a Decree (SK) for two new full professors. Thus, the number of full professors at UMJ will reach 34 people.

The Head of the Higher Education Service Agency (LLDIKTI) Region III, Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., said that the confirmation of four full professors simultaneously reflects the strength and consistency of UMJ in building academic quality.

According to him, this achievement is the result of hard work, academic discipline, and the support of family and institutional environments.

"This achievement shows that dedication, consistency in research, and commitment to the development of science are the keys to reaching the academic peak," he said.

The inauguration was also attended by a number of national figures and academics, including the Presidential Special Advisor for Political and Security Affairs, General TNI (Ret.) Dr. Wiranto, Deputy Chairman of the PP Muhammadiyah Diktilitbang Assembly Prof. Dr. Jamhari Makruf, M.A., and professors from various universities.
