Disqualified for Ethics, Dewas KPK Punishes Employee of Wife of K3 Blackmail Suspect

JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) stated that the First Expert Auditor, Fani Febriany, violated ethics. He was given a sanction to apologize in a proven manner.

Fani as an anti-corruption commission employee is known as the wife of Miki Mahfud who has been named a suspect in the corruption of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certification in the Ministry of Manpower. Miki is one of the parties to PT KEM Indonesia.

"It is stated that Fani Febriany has been proven to be legally and convincingly guilty of violating the ethics as a commission person who has violated the values of professionalism in the form of a ban on serving as a director of a company," said Chairman of the KPK Dewas Gusrizal who sat as Chairman of the Assembly while reading the verdict at the ACLC Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 13.

"Imposing a heavy sanction on the suspect in the form of a direct public apology, which was delivered by the suspect in writing and read in front of the Head or the Head of the Security Guard who recorded it was uploaded on the Commission's online media which can only be accessed by the Commission's personnel (nortal) for 40 working days," he continued.

The verdict was read by the KPK Supervisory Board's ethics council with the Chairman of the KPK Dewas Gusrizal as the Chairman of the Council and Benny Mamoto and Sumpeno as Council Members.

As for the case of extortion of K3 certification, 11 people were named as suspects. They are:

1. Irvian Bobby Mahendro as Coordinator of Institutional and Personnel K3 for 2022-2025;

2. Gerry Aditya Herwanto Putra as Coordinator for Testing and Evaluation of Occupational Safety Competence from 2022 to the present;

3. Subhan as Sub Coordinator for Occupational Safety of the Department of Human Resources Development 2020-2025;

4. Anitasari Kusumawati as Coordinator of Partnership and Occupational Health Personnel from 2020 to the present;

5. Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan as Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029;

6. Fahrurozi as Director General of Binwasnaker and K3 in March 2025 until now;

7. Hery Sutanto as Director of Institutional Development 2021-February 2025;

8. Sekarsari Kartika Putri as sub-coordinator;

9. Supriadi as coordinator;

10. Temurila as a party to PT KEM Indonesia; and

11. Miki Mahfud as a party to PT KEM Indonesia.

This case then developed and the anti-corruption commission named three other people as suspects. They are Chairul Fadly Harahap as Secretary of the Directorate General of Manpower and Occupational Safety and Health Supervision (Binwasnaker and K3) of the Ministry of Manpower; Haiyani Rumondang as Director General (Dirjen) of Manpower and K3 Supervision; and Sunardi Manampiar Sinaga as former Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Manpower.

The three are suspects because they are suspected of enjoying the flow of extortion money. This finding was obtained after investigators examined a number of witnesses and suspects who had previously been appointed.
