Surut Pond, Commuter Line Services Cikarang and Tanjung Priok Back to Normal Operation
JAKARTA - The Bandan-Angke/Jakarta City Village Line on Tuesday can be used again for the Commuter Line journey.
Previously, the track could not be passed because the rails were flooded.
KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan said that the waterlogging on the cross-line between Kampung Bandan-Angke had started to recede. Commuter Line can be crossed to serve users starting this morning.
"After checking the condition of the rail line and ensuring the safety and security of the rail line by the relevant officers, the journey of the Cikarang Commuter Line and the Tanjung Priok Commuter Line starting at 05.00 WIB can pass again at the location where it was flooded yesterday," explained Leza in an official statement, Tuesday, January 13.
Leza said the Commuter Line's up and down user service at Kampung Bandan Station has also started serving users.
"Related officers are still at the location to continue to monitor the development of the situation and ensure that the rail line infrastructure facilities are safe to pass through the train journey," said Leza.
The impact of waterlogging on the rail line on Monday, January 12, the Tanjung Priok Commuter Line service, the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priok relationship, and vice versa, was canceled.
