Prabowo Stays at the Prime Minister's Office in IKN and Checks the Progress of Development Today
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, Monday, January 12 afternoon. Prabowo's first arrival as head of state is to directly review the progress of IKN development on Tuesday, January 13.
President Prabowo landed at the Helipad of the State Palace Grounds, the IKN area at around 18.45 Wita. Prabowo was greeted directly by the Head of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono and a number of his ranks.
In the agenda of his visit, President Prabowo is scheduled to spend the night in the IKN area. The next day, Tuesday morning, Prabowo is scheduled to conduct a review of a number of strategic location development points in the IKN area to see the progress and readiness of the infrastructure being developed.
This visit is an important momentum in the development of the Nusantara Capital City. President Prabowo's presence at IKN shows the government's commitment to ensuring that the development of the area is carried out according to plan and is sustainable.
Also accompanying President Prabowo on his visit to IKN were Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Secretary of State Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Head of the Government Communication Agency Angga Raka Prabowo.
President Prabowo is known to have taken off from the Merdeka Field Helipad, Balikpapan City. Previously, the President had inaugurated the integrated energy infrastructure of the Pertamina Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Balikpapan, which is one of the national strategic projects in the energy sector.
