Undressed Woman Killer At Dreamtel Menteng Hotel Arrested

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police have arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a 31-year-old woman named Ida Wasila Anata (31). Jasad Ida room number 110 Hotel Dreamtel, Menteng, Central Jakarta.

This was confirmed by the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi. Arsya said the perpetrator was a 24-year-old man with the initials AA.

"Yes, it has been secured. The initials of perpetrator AA are 24 years old," said Arsya when confirmed via text message, Saturday, May 29.

Currently, the perpetrator has been detained at the Central Jakarta Police Headquarters. Investigators are currently asking AA for information on this case intensively.

However, Arsya has not disclosed in detail the arrests and motives of the perpetrators to kill Ida. He asked to wait for the results of the examination the next day.

It was previously reported that the hotel's CCTV footage uploaded to the Jakpus journalist's Instagram showed that the alleged perpetrator came to the Dreamtel hotel wearing shorts, a jacket, and a small bag.

The suspect entered room number 110 at 13:46 WIB, seen from the front hallway of the hotel room. At around 14:36 WIB, the suspect was seen leaving the room.

Teuku said the police had investigated the hotel crime scene (TKP) where the body of a 31-year-old woman was found. As a result, the victim's belongings were lost.

"We suspect the victim's money and other valuables are missing," he explained.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Paksi Eka, said that from the results of the preliminary investigation, a strangulation wound was found. So that it is strongly suspected that the woman who is known to have the initials IWA is a murder victim.

"The results of the crime scene, we found marks of strangulation on the neck of the victim," said Paksi.

In an effort to uncover this case, at least three people have been questioned. As a result, the victim is said to have stayed at the hotel for several days.

"The victim has stayed at the hotel for three days," he said.
