Vivo Y500i Launches with 7,200 mAh Battery, up to 12 GB RAM, and 512 GB Storage
JAKARTA - Vivo officially introduced the latest smartphone from the Y500 series, namely the Vivo Y500i, in the Chinese market. After previously releasing the Vivo Y500 and Y500 Pro, the Y500i model comes with a focus on battery life, large storage options, and stable 5G performance for daily use needs.
Vivo Y500i is equipped with a 6.75-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels. This panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, an aspect ratio of 19.6:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.60 percent, and a contrast ratio of 1,500:1.
In the performance sector, the Vivo Y500i is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. This device is available in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM options. The 8 GB variant uses LPDDR5X RAM, while the 12 GB variant uses LPDDR4X.
For internal storage, Vivo offers 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB options with UFS 3.1 technology. In addition, the memory fusion feature allows for the addition of up to 8 GB or 12 GB of virtual RAM, depending on the variant.
One of the main attractions of the Vivo Y500i is its large battery capacity. This phone is equipped with a single-cell lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 7,200 mAh with 44W Flash Charge fast charging support. For the operating system, this device runs OriginOS 6 which is likely based on Android 16.
