458 East Pademangan Residents Evacuated Due to Flooding

JAKARTA - A total of 458 residents of RW 10, Pademangan Timur Village, Pademangan District, North Jakarta, were forced to evacuate because their houses were flooded on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Hundreds of houses in 4 RT in RW 10 were flooded since Monday morning.

The settlement of residents was flooded after the overflow of the Item River, Kampung Kebon Pisang, Pademangan Timur Village.

Based on the records of the local neighborhood, the number of residents affected by the flood includes RT 06, 08, 09 and 10.

"Residents of RT 06 have 40 souls, residents of RT 08 have 365 souls, residents of RT 09 have 7 souls and residents of RT 10 have 46 souls who have been displaced," said the Head of Pademangan Timur, Suhardiman when confirmed, Monday, January 12, 2026.

The flooding was caused by high rainfall that hit the North Jakarta area since Monday morning.

According to Suhardiman, hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate to the field hall of RT 08/010 Pademangan Timur Village.

Furthermore, Sudirman said, there were still people who remained on the second floor of their house and did not want to follow the invitation to evacuate.

"The total number of refugees is 458 people," he said.

Data on refugees, said Suhardiman, was obtained from the results of coordination with the Head of RT, RW, Dawis Kader, and local LMK.

"We have reported about the presence of these refugees to the North Jakarta Social Sub-Directorate," he said.

It is just known that Jakarta is still being showered with rain until this afternoon. The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded an increase in flooded roads to 44 points at 12.00 WIB. In addition, dozens of RT in Jakarta are also flooded.
