Arriving at BCIS Ancol, Megawati Will Give Directions to Kader at the Peak of the I PDIP National Conference

JAKARTA - The General Chair of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri will give an explanation to her cadres at the peak of the PDIP I National Conference today.

When he arrived, Megawati was greeted by PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto to his grandson who is also a PDIP politician, Pinka Hapsari along with the party's elite.

Pinka was seen holding hands with her grandmother to climb the escalator to enter the closing arena of the I National Conference.

Megawati is scheduled to convey instructions at the I PDIP National Congress and close the activities that have been carried out since Saturday, January 10. He will also convey internal and external recommendations from the commission meeting at the I National Congress on Sunday, January 11.

First, the Political Attitude Commission meeting which discusses the internal and external direction of the party, including responses to current issues such as the Pilkada.

Second, the Program Commission meeting was divided into the Government, Citizenship, and International Relations subcommittees and discussed issues of decentralization to regional governance.

Third, the Organization Commission meeting which discusses the consolidation of the structure to the grassroots (ranting), recruitment, and political education.

Fourth, the Election Victory Commission meeting which designs winning strategies for the upcoming Legislative and Regional Elections.

Fifth, a meeting of the Youth and Political Communication Commission which responds to the opportunity for young voters who are predicted to reach 56 per cent by 2029 through relevant communication strategies.

Sixth, the meeting of the Commission for Women and Children which discusses the protection and specific issues of women and children.

Seventh, a meeting of the Environment and Disaster Mitigation Commission that responds seriously to ecological damage, in accordance with the main direction of PDIP General Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri.

As previously reported, PDIP carried the theme 'Satyam Eva Jayate' with the sub-theme 'There I Stand, For Eternity' in the National Congress which was held from Saturday to Monday, January 10-12.

Meanwhile, Satyam Eva Jayate is a Sanskrit slogan which means "Truth will win".

The sub-theme "Di Sanalah Aku Berdiri untuk Selama-lamanya" was taken by quoting the Indonesian Raya song.

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party's National Congress was attended by PDIP managers at the central and regional levels, represented by the chairman, secretary, and treasurer.

"This national congress will discuss political attitudes, including the party's answers to various geopolitical issues, ecological crises, corruption, economic issues, law enforcement, to the party's internal programs and the party's responsibility to the people," he said in a press statement, Friday, January 9.
