Jasa Marga: There are still two flood points on the Sedyatmo Toll due to heavy rain

JAKARTA - Heavy rain that has hit Jakarta and its surroundings since Sunday, January 11, 2026, has caused a number of points on the Sedyatmo Toll to be flooded. The height of the puddle varies, some up to 60 centimeters (cm).

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) as the toll road operator said, as of Monday afternoon, January 12, at 13.00 WIB, there were two puddles that were still being handled by officers.

"Rainfall continues to be high throughout the day, adding to the puddle point. Until this afternoon at 13.00 WIB, there were two puddle points still being handled by officers, namely Off Ramp-GT Pluit 3 and KM 31+000 A Off Ramp Rawa Bokor," said Marketing and Communication Department Head Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division Panji Satriya in a written statement, Monday, January 12.

Panji explained that the first officer detected the puddle at 07.58 WIB and immediately headed to the location to ensure that the pump was operating normally.

However, the rainfall continued to increase and lasted quite a long time, causing a fairly rapid runoff from the surrounding area to the toll road water channel. Thus, the pump capacity is not able to quickly reduce the discharge of puddles.

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this incident," he said.

Currently, said Panji, his party and the police are continuing to reduce water discharge and carry out the necessary traffic arrangements.

If you have an urgent flight schedule, Panji continued, road users are expected to use other access through JORR 2 or by considering other public transportation modes to reach Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

"It is urged that road users remain orderly in line and follow the instructions of officers in the field," he added.
