Zelenskyy asks for European air defense missile reserves

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy demanded that Europe hand over their air defense missile reserves to his country.

"The main priority is air defense missiles... new contributions from partners to the necessary PURL [Priority List of Needs of Ukraine] initiative, as well as deliveries from stocks in Europe: the missiles are in the warehouses, and we know all of that," Zelenskyy said in a video message published on his Telegram account. reported by ANTARA from Sputnik, Monday, January 12.

Russia has repeatedly stated that Western arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the resolution of the military conflict and make NATO countries parties to the crisis.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has warned that any cargo containing weapons for Ukraine will be a legitimate target for the Russian military.
