iCar V27 EREV Goes into Production Line, Launches in the First Quarter of 2026

SUV offroad Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) V27 from Chery's subbrand iCar officially came off the production line, as the largest model and the first EREV model in the brand.

Citing the Carnewschina website, Monday, January 12, the car, which can be ordered from December 2025, is scheduled to officially launch in the first quarter of this year, available in rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD).

In terms of appearance, this new car features a classic square box design typical of off-road SUVs, round headlights, conventional door handles, black trim details, vertically arranged rear lights and rear tires mounted on the outside.

In terms of dimensions, the iCaur V27 measures 4,909 mm in length, 1,976 mm in width, 1,855 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm, making it the largest model under the iCar brand to date.

The EREV system consists of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, paired with a 34,317 kWh and 20,638 kWh battery pack. The engine has a maximum power of 105 kW or 141 hp.

The RWD version has a maximum output of 185 kW (248 hp), while the AWD version has a maximum output of 335 kW (449 hp), an acceleration time of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, a pure electric range of CLTC of 210 km, and a comprehensive range of 1,200 km.

The car is already supported by an advanced driving assistance system powered by the Chery Falcon 700, which is powered by the Journey J6P chip from Horizon Robotics with 560 TOPS. There are also 27 sensors located around the vehicle.

On the inside, the interior is embedded with a 15.4-inch 2.5K resolution center control screen, which is supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. A cluster of instruments, rectangular-shaped AC vents, and physical buttons under the center control screen for configuration settings are also available.

There are five exterior paint options for consumers, such as silver, yellow, cream, black, and blue, making every user able to adjust their tastes.

iCar itself will enliven the Indonesian automotive market and the first model is expected to be V23, will this model be present in Indonesia?
